Information for engaged couples
The administration of the State Castle Jánský Vrch in Javorník offers the following ceremony options:
1. inside the castle's interiors
a) during the day : 5.000,-CZK
b) evening (after 18.00 hours) : 7.000,-CZK
2. in the garden houses and exteriors
a) during the day : 2.500,-CZK
b) evening (after 18.00 hours) : 3.500,-CZK

You can learn about free dates for wedding ceremonies from the Castle Administration. The date cannot be booked, a binding order is the Wedding Ceremony Service Realization Agreement. This Agreement is always concluded with both of the engaged, only in case of foreigners one of them or his or her appointed representative is sufficient. Within 14 days after the signing of the agreement, the service must be paid for to the castle's administration in cash, against proof of payment or by bank transfer to the account KB 28537-811/0100, variable symbol: wedding date, e.g. June 2nd, 2004, 9.00 a.m. = 020604900. The order can be cancelled, with fee return, within 2 months before the date of the ceremony, in case of later cancellation, the fee will not be returned.
Photographing and filming of the wedding ceremony in the room where it is taking place is allowed, as well as photographing in castle interiors (max. 30 min.) and exteriors (max. 30 min.). Exceeding of this limit will be billed with the fee for photographing for couples not married at the castle Jánský Vrch.
For couples not married at the castle Jánský Vrch – for photographing and filming in other areas of the castle (interiors and exteriors), the administration bills the fee of CZK 500.-Kč. The photographing may take 45 minut, for exceeding this limit, another 500.- CZK will be billed. Photographing in selected rooms of the castle (Tour I – Representation Rooms) will be managed by designated castle administration employee. The fee will be paid in cash at the cash dask against receipt.
Maximum number of participants in the wedding ceremony is 60 people (with regard to the capacity of the concert hall), for another room (e.g. the chapel), the capacity will correspond to the size of the space).
The organization of the ceremony will be ensured by an employee of the Castle Administration for the whole duration. As the wedding ceremonies are taking place under the safety regulations of a protected historical monuments, it is necessary that all the wedding guests respects the instructions of this employee (no smoking, staying within designated space, maintaining the agreed schedule, etc.). The castle administration asks the guests not to use metal heels, as they would cause irreversible damage to the rare original parquet floors. Inside the building, the drinking of alcoholic beverages is forbidden. It is forbidden to throw rice, peas or confetti on the newly married couple in the spirit of tradition, to break a plate for luck, etc – this is valid for the whole castle including the courtyard and the access stairway.
